Hi Dennis - love the shot of the old run-down gas station! You're making all of this look so easy. I'm reading along and then I suddenly think - good grief ... the guy is riding a bicycle from Minneapolis to the Pacific Ocean!

The Cheyene Mountain vista is awesome. What I remember more than anything else about "out west" is the wide open vistas that dwarf anything we see in the midwest. The Western United States as a whole is like another country! I bet your senses are on overload.

Just like Lance, you need some down time to re-energize the body. It sounds like staying in Colorado Springs did the trick.
I'm in Dallas for a 4 day business trip and will think of you as I ride the exercise bike in the gym.
