Up and over the summit

Yesterday was a challenging ride.
It felt great to finally see the top.
Oh by the way, it was an amazing ride down the other side.
I met a really interesting and fun couple at dinner last evening. More details at the next posting opportunity.
It's Saturday, and the road sign outside indicates 78 miles to Taos.
Let's have breakfast and hit the road.

I am so proud of you for making it through the difficult day. You must be as strong as an ox by now.
Enjoy the downhill ride today and all the beautiful sights of Colorado. It's hard to believe you will be with Chip in just a couple of days.

Making it to La Veta Pass had to be exhilarating. The ride down the other side must have been really cool. Did you wear out your brakes? I am really proud to have a brother thats making such an awesome journey. We're all cheering you on . Take care and God bless you.
