Hi Dennis and George,

Enjoyed your pics and remarks today--had been wondering if you made your goal yesterday. Looks like you did and now well on your way to Scottsdale. I hope it's all downhill! And you're not being chased by those thorny plants, your tires' worst enemy it seems.

I'm expecting a photo from Sunflower soon. Hope it lives up to its delightful name. :)

George, it,s been great that you've been riding with Dennis for a week. His Mom and I wish you could go all the way! I bet he does, too. :)

Wishing you a fine ride today and no more flats.

Love from AJ

Lee and I were in Payson & Scottsdale a year ago last April. Beautiful places. Makes me long for the mountains of AZ. Enjoy your down hills!
You are keeping right on schedule and meeting such wonderful people on the way. What a journey!
sending blessings your way, sue & lee

Den,

Bob and I were in Payson in March, 2004, on our way to meet you and Cathy at the LA airport. We stayed there one night. What a beautiful spot!!!!! And I remember that the drive (via car, not bike!!!) down to the Phoenix area was beautiful. I can only imagine how much more of that beauty you took in by biking rather than driving.

Great talking to you, George and Cheryl this evening. It sounds like they are taking good care of you!!! :) Enjoy those large beers!!!! You deserve it.

I am anxious for an update tomorrow night when you hook up with your brother after his adventure in the Grand Canyon....what wonderful timing that you are both in the Phoenix area at the same time! Devine intervention?

Take care.

Sharon

You are both in my thoughts today.
