R&R Day 2

Life can't get any better than this.
Napping and tons of relaxing.
You're looking at Garden of the Gods with Pikes Peak in the distance.
Tonight , it's Luigi's for dinner.

Dennis,
Im in room with my Mom, and will now ask her what she wants to say to you...so here goes.

Mom: "Hope he's having a great time. Wishes she were there, riding along with him...in a CAR!!!!!(with AIR CONDITIONING)"

Den,
As you can tell, my mother still has her sense of humor. We are both rooting for you, as so many others obviously are.
My biggest concern, once you hit armidillo country...do you run one over to make "road kill" and thus your dinner for the night, or do you let the poor critter go his or her own way, only to be wiped out by a semi?
I'm sure my sister, hubbie and their son were great hosts....watch the amount of wine you drink tonight at Luigi's. It can get to you at those high altitudes(still, give a toast to my Mom if you would be so kind).

Good afternoon Fern & Brian,

Thanks for your support Aunt Fern.
Rest and take it easy. You have lots of Bridge to play in the years ahead.
Maybe you should take up bicycling and forget driving. It's more fun, and who knows you may meet Mr. Right.
We send you our love and prayers.

Hey Brian,

We are with you in spirit and offer all of our love and support during this difficult time.

Guess what, someone told me Armidillo is best roasted over an open pit fire. Pour on the butter and start eating. Of course, given a choice I would let the poor creature cross the highway to live another day.

Staying with Mike, Cammie, and Scott has been so very relaxing and a super fun time. Don't worry about us at Luigi's. It's just a glass or two of red wine. Ha-ha.
Talk to you soon.

Hi Dennis,
Wow, what a beautiful photo in Colo Springs. Looks like you are really having fun. Been enjoying your posts and hearing about all the characters out there. Makes the country seem so small. I think maybe you should have been a reporter!

Anyway, keep it up. Your trip has been a real inspiration. See you in Santa Fe.
